The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This click here is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office more info dedicated to service the area daily. The service position developed for intervention experiences a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
